Kaizen Approach, Inc. Helps Veterans

July 20th was a special day for our American Red Cross Service to Armed Forces (SAF) volunteers, Kaizen Approach, Inc. (KAI) and the inpatients of Loch Raven VA. To honor and show appreciation for the men and women who risked their lives for our country, SAF volunteers visited and delivered 120 personal hygiene kits to veteran inpatients in long-term and hospice care units. KAI Volunteers took time with each veteran to thank them for their service and dedication. The veterans were greeted by the positive energy and bright smiles of our volunteers who were eager to hear veterans’ stories. In addition, veterans’ family members acknowledged and thanked us for remembering their loved one and for recognizing their role as caregivers. A meaningful day full of smiles and joy came to an end with a heartfelt hug from the veterans. We hope to revisit our veterans in the near future to show more appreciation for veterans who deserve it all.
